I am interested in the regulation of gene expression, and the evolution of patterning mechanisms in development. For my PhD project, I am using a combination of genetic, imaging, and computational approaches to investigate the mechanisms of fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) anteroposterior segmentation.
