Bioinformatics Core Director at The University of Sheffield

I am setting-up a Bioinformatics Core at The University of Sheffield. We will provide high-quality Bioinformatics service to assist researchers in the planning, analysis, visualisation and interpretation of their high-throughput data. We will also provide training courses on essential data analysis skills and more-specialised training in the analysis of NGS-related data.

I joined the School of Clinical Medicine at the University of Cambridge in 2014, first as a research associate in statistics at the Behaviour and Health Research Unit and then, from 2017, as a Senior Statistician at the CRUK - Cambridge Institute, contributing statistical expertise to the design and analysis of research projects. Since March 2021, I also work part-time at the MRC-BSU with Prof. Thomas Jaki on dose-finding models and MAMS designs.
