Adrian is a postdoctoral researcher at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, where he works with group leaders Iñigo Martincorena and Peter Campbell to investigate the biological processes that shape the evolution of cells in healthy and diseased tissues.
Sergio is an associate director in hit discovery bioinformatics at AstraZeneca R&D leading a group developing computational approaches for target identification and new therapeutics discovery. He builds from his early training in medicinal chemistry and biochemistry followed with a PhD and postdoc in bioinformatics and cheminformatics and develops projects in collaboration with laboratory colleagues and clinical scientists.
Since September 2018, I am an Associate Professor of Bioinformatics at the UCLouvain, in Belgium, and director of the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (CBIO) group. I am located in the de Duve Institute, on the medical campus in Brussels, where I run a research group and teach at the faculty of pharmacy and biomedical sciences (FASB).
Mark will be working with Alexia, initially on supporting material development for the undergraduate NST IB Mathematical and Computational Biology Course before moving on to support the delivery and development of existing portfolio of courses.
